Scott finished second in the final of the British Championship at Monmore Green. He topped scoring chart to qualify direct to the final but a tough first bend saw Chris Harris take the lead which he would hold on to.
Despite the bitter disappointment of missing out on the British Championship, Scott has qualified to ride as a Wild Card at the British Grand Prix at Cardiff on July 10th.
Scott won his first three rides at Sheffield before the meeting was abandoned after heat 12. The result stands and so he qualifies for the final at Wolverhampton on 14th June.
